All fixed?

Thanks to the IT people at Scienceboards, everything seems to be up and running and the spam filter tamed, to boot. A new WordPress with some more flexibility for me as author. For example:

Yes, I have told my daughter many times how beautiful she is, how when people comment on her two hundred-odd birthmarks she can say that they are “grains de beaute” (beauty marks) – and highlight when someone like yesterday’s dentist says “they are very pretty!” (whew!!). Because she’s only seven, but when she’s thirteen she might not believe us if we hadn’t laid the ground work. I didn’t need Dove for that. Then again, I’m not against this campaign. I’m sure the well-meaning folks at Dove don’t work with the same ad company as the ones in the AXA division.

I can’t seem to deal with the left-aligned rest of the blog after the movie, though. Sorry about that. Maybe it’s my browser, but I think I just don’t know enough code.

Edited later for format – and it seems to work.

Hm. I think you have an extra set of empty [embed][/embed] tags before your YouTube video. Something’s causing an extra blank image placeholder to show up in my browser (IE 6.something/WinXP).

For the text after the movie, you might need [p][/p] tags around it to make it behave.

The above are just guesses based on looking at the source and my own rather sketchy grasp of html.

    Otherwise, woohoo! It’s working!

It seems like your anti-spam thing does not like the website field.

It works fine for me from my home PC, but not my work one.

Which is probably all as it should be (given my work plc almost certainly blocks such embedded Youtubes).

By the way, fun video.. I hadn’t seen it. I am also little surprised. Sad, isnt it.
